"Live simply, so that others may simply live." - Gandhi
I live an eco-friendly micro-lifestyle in France, in the newly created Parc Naturel des Pyrénées Ariégeoises. It is perfectly possible to live a comfortable 21st-century life, while consuming a fraction of the resources of a 'normal' Westerner - and that allows more of us to have a fair share of the planet Earth.
I live in a self-built, off-grid 20 m2 timber-framed cabin, with solar electricity, rainwater harvesting, dry toilets etc. My quality of life is high, but my ecological footprint is extremely low.

I love sharing my lifestyle with other people and introducing them to low-impact living. If you'd like to visit, you could come as a CouchSurfer for two or three days.
Better still, you could come for a week or a month as a WWOOF-style volunteer, meaning you help around the place in return for your food and accommodation (in the vegetable garden, clearing land, some building etc).
